The Full Story
My practice philosophy is rooted in a strong belief in impairment-based reasoning, integrated with a biopsychosocial approach to care. I advocate for the principles of regional interdependence and the interconnectedness of biomechanics and kinetic chain links, emphasising the importance of understanding these concepts for effective treatment. Education plays a crucial role in my practice, as I strive to enhance compliance and foster independence by empowering individuals with knowledge, particularly in pain management. I support controlled and planned load management as essential for both injury recovery and performance training, and I firmly believe in the value of holistic, patient-centred care. Additionally, I challenge the perspectives of those who rely solely on evidence-based practices without recognising the inherent limitations of the evidence base, and strive instead for a more comprehensive approach to healthcare.
